HS Lights is an innovative lighting supplier for industrial, commercial, domestic and retail applications. We are a forward thinking company who has already established itself firmly within the lighting market and we are continuing to expand. Venture is currently seeking an enthusiastic, diligent and 'forward thinking' product designer to join the company on a full time basis.

With a minimum of 3 years’ experience in product design you will have a creative flair and a good knowledge of mechanical design and innovation. Confident enough to talk to customers face to face and flexible enough to work well within an established team you will need to be extremely enthusiastic, innovative, motivated and with a good eye for detail. An excellent communicator and well organised, you will be comfortable to run your own projects from conception through to launch.

• Qualified to Degree level or HND/BTEC or education in Product Design.
• High standard of engineering software skills (preferably Solidworks 3D Design Software)
• Excellent ideas generation and visual communication skills (Both software based and Freehand Sketching)
• Excellent understanding of design fundamentals, such as mechanical function, materials, technologies.

• Have the ability to adapt creativity to both Product Design and some graphic design.
• Have experience with problem solving and provide originality of thoughts and ideas.
• A good understanding of what it takes to combine visual aesthetic and mechanical benefits into product solutions.

• Negotiable depending on experience.
